Open Electrolysis Lesson at Aurubis Bulgaria

Students from the tenth grades and their teachers from "Nikola Dimov" High School, Pirdop, visited the Refinery of "Aurubis Bulgaria" to upgrade their knowledge of chemistry in a real production environment.

After a Safety Instruction and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment, the students were welcomed in the meeting room of the Refinery. Dancho Geshev -shift supervisor gave them a detailed introduction to the company's activities and the production process in the electrolyte production unit, and also answered to the questions asked by the students.

The students were also interested in visiting the production hall, where they saw the electrolysis process and the final cathode product. 

"The students found the visit very useful. They were introduced to something new, which they saw for the first time, and which will also be useful for their future careers," said the biology and chemistry teacher. 

"Aurubis Bulgaria shares knowledge and encourages young people to improve and make the right career choices.
