Complaints mechanism
Aurubis views integrity and compliance as essential components of entrepreneurial success. In this context, Aurubis's whistleblower system plays an important role in uncovering potential violations of laws or regulations or misconduct.
The digital whistleblower system from Aurubis is available around the clock to report possible legal violations or other actions that could harm the company. The system allows users to submit information in ten different languages and completely anonymously.
There can be many reasons for a fact-based report, for example:
- criminal offenses such as corruption, fraud or theft
- violations of antitrust law
- discrimination on the basis of race, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, (social) background, religion, ideology, ethnicity, physical or mental disability, marital status
- harassment, hostility, threats, extortion, bullying or exclusion
- Human rights or environmental risks as well as violations of human rights or environmental obligations arising from Aurubis's business activities in its own business unit or at direct or indirect suppliers.
Whistleblowers will not suffer any disadvantage as a result of reporting. The anonymity of the whistleblower towards Aurubis is guaranteed in every case. All reports are rigorously investigated and the whistleblower is kept informed of the progress of the proceedings.

Klokkenluidersregeling Klachtenregeling
Integriteit en naleving zijn essentiële onderdelen van het succes van Aurubis. Het klokkenluiderssysteem van Aurubis speelt een belangrijke rol bij het aan het licht brengen van mogelijke overtredingen van wet- en regelgeving of wangedrag.
Het digitale klokkenluidersysteem van Aurubis is 24 uur per dag beschikbaar voor het indienen van informatie over mogelijke wetsovertredingen of andere acties die het bedrijf zouden kunnen schaden.
Er kunnen veel redenen zijn voor een op feiten gebaseerde melding, bijv. strafbare feiten zoals
- Strafbare feiten zoals corruptie, fraude of diefstal
- Overtredingen van de antitrustwetgeving
- Discriminatie op basis van racistische motieven of op basis van leeftijd, geslacht, geslachtsidentiteit, seksuele geaardheid, (sociale) afkomst, religie, ideologie, etniciteit, lichamelijke of geestelijke beperking, burgerlijke staat
- Intimidatie, vijandigheid, bedreigingen, chantage, pesten of marginalisatie
- Mensenrechten- of milieurisico's en schendingen van mensenrechten of milieuverplichtingen die voortvloeien uit de bedrijfsactiviteiten van Aurubis in de eigen bedrijfssector of bij directe en indirecte leveranciers.
Klokkenluiders zullen geen nadelen ondervinden van hun melding. De anonimiteit van de klokkenluider ten opzichte van Aurubis wordt in ieder geval gegarandeerd. Alle meldingen zullen consequent worden opgevolgd en de klokkenluider zal worden geïnformeerd over de voortgang van de procedure.
